Portrait of Bertie Gilbert I did today.  

This wasn't meant to be coloured in monotone, but I was so unhappy with how it looked after just a few minutes of working on it that I was so close to neglecting the entire piece before trying anything to solve the issue. I stuck with it though and decided to go duotone with orange and teal. This ended up being my favourite illustrative sketch out of the ones I've done before (despite having only made four or so previously). My point is, never give up on a piece even if you feel like it's not going to turn out great. Always find a way to make it better. Always find a way to turn it around. That's how you become a better artist.
